The SWOS database provides an overview of data generated and collected from the SWOS project (geospatial products, story lines developed from SWOS as well as external services and data linked to wetlands and countries). It exists of geospatial data, non-GIS datasets as well as external resources linked to wetlands, which have been selected during the SWOS project. Data for around 50 wetlands within Europe and Africa have been made available in the SWOS database and many of them are publicly available by the GEO Wetlands Community Portal developed by SWOS.
